Give unusual readings an operating context
An increase in consumption is a starting point for investigation. Compare the meter, period and pattern with operating hours, cleaning, production or planned maintenance before deciding what needs attention.
Smart-View brings consumption patterns into view so teams can focus their checks. The readings available, thresholds and notification workflow are agreed around your meters and operating requirements.
Identify the affected site and meter.
Check whether the activity was expected.
Assign a person to investigate and record the outcome.

Make the response part of the setup
Agree who reviews each type of exception and what information they need. An overnight water pattern may call for a facilities check; an electricity peak may need a review of equipment schedules.
After an intervention, compare similar periods and record changes in activity. Monitoring supports diagnosis; it cannot establish the physical cause of every unusual reading.
